Greetings to the Prophet ﷺ

1. Greeting to Prophet (pbuh)

اَلصَّلَاةُ وَالسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا رَسُولَ اللّٰهِ. اَلصَّلَاةُ وَالسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا حَبِيبَ اللّٰهِ. اَلصَّلَاةُ وَالسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا رَحْمَةً لِلْعَالَمِينَ. اَلصَّلَاةُ وَالسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا سَيِّدَ الْمُرْسَلِينَ. اَلصَّلَاةُ وَالسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا خَاتَمَ النَّبِيِّينَ. اَلصَّلَاةُ وَالسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ وَرَحْمَةُ اللّٰهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ. اَلصَّلَاةُ وَالسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ وَعَلَى آلِكَ وَأَصْحَابِكَ وَأَهْلِ بَيْتِكَ وَعَلَى النَّبِيِّينَ وَسَائِرِ الصَّالِحِينَ. يَا رَسُولَ اللّٰهِ، سَمِعْتُ أَنَّ اللّٰهَ تَعَالَى يَقُولُ: ﴿وَلَوْ اَنَّهُمْ اِذْ ظَلَمُٓوا اَنْفُسَهُمْ جَٓاؤُ۫كَ فَاسْتَغْفَرُوا اللّٰهَ وَاسْتَغْفَرَ لَهُمُ الرَّسُولُ لَوَجَدُوا اللّٰهَ تَوَّابًا رَحٖيمًا﴾ وَقَدْ جِئْتُكَ مُسْتَغْفِرًا مِنْ ذَنْبِي، مُسْتَشْفِعًا بِكَ إِلَى رَبِّي. أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا اللّٰهُ وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّكَ رَسُولُ اللّٰهِ، وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّكَ بَلَّغْتَ الرِّسَالَةَ، وَأَدَّيْتَ الْأَمَانَةَ، وَنَصَحْتَ الْأُمَّةَ، وَدَعَوْتَ إِلَى سَبِيلِ رَبِّكَ بِالْحِكْمَةِ وَالْمَوْعِظَةِ الْحَسَنَةِ، وَجَاهَدْتَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللّٰهِ حَتَّى أَتَاكَ الْيَقِينُ. فَجَزَاكَ اللّٰهُ عَنَّا أَفْضَلَ مَا جَزَى رَسُولًا عَنْ أُمَّتِهِ. اَللّٰهُمَّ آتِهِ الْوَسِيلَةَ وَالْفَضِيلَةَ وَالدَّرَجَةَ الرَّفِيعَةَ وَابْعَثْهُ مَقَامًا مَحْمُودًا. رَبَّنَٓا اٰمَنَّا بِمَٓا اَنْزَلْتَ وَاتَّبَعْنَا الرَّسُولَ فَاكْتُبْنَا مَعَ الشَّاهِدٖينَ

Blessings and peace be upon you, O Messenger of Allah. Blessings and peace be upon you, O Beloved of Allah. Blessings and peace be upon you, O Mercy to the worlds. Blessings and peace be upon you, O Master of the Messengers. Blessings and peace be upon you, O Seal of the Prophets. Blessings and peace be upon you, O Prophet, and the mercy of Allah and His blessings. Blessings and peace be upon you, upon your family, your Companions and the people of your household, and upon the prophets and all the righteous. O Messenger of Allah, I have heard that Allah the Exalted says: 'And if, when they wronged themselves, they had come to you, [O Muhammad], and asked forgiveness of Allah and the Messenger had asked forgiveness for them, they would have found Allah Accepting of repentance and Merciful.' I have come to you seeking forgiveness for my sin and seeking your intercession with my Lord. I bear witness that there is no deity but Allah, and I bear witness that you are the Messenger of Allah. I bear witness that you conveyed the message, fulfilled the trust, gave sincere counsel to the Ummah, called to the way of your Lord with wisdom and good admonition, and strove in the way of Allah until certainty (death) came to you. May Allah reward you on our behalf with the best reward He has given any messenger on behalf of his Ummah. O Allah, grant him al-Wasilah, al-Fadilah and the lofty rank, and raise him to a praised station. Our Lord, we have believed in what You revealed and have followed the messenger, so register us among the witnesses [to truth].

2. Greeting to Abu Bakr (r.a.)

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا أَبَا بَكْرٍ الصِّدِّيقِ. اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا خَلِيفَةَ رَسُولِ اللّٰهِ صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ. اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا صَاحِبَ رَسُولِ اللّٰهِ وَأَنِيسَهُ فِي الْغَارِ، وَرَفِيقَهُ فِي الْأَسْفَارِ، وَأَمِينَهُ عَلَى الْأَسْرَارِ. جَزَاكَ اللّٰهُ عَنَّا أَفْضَلَ الْجَزَاءِ، فَالسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ وَرَحْمَةُ اللّٰهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ. اَللّٰهُمَّ ارْضَ عَنْهُ، وَارْفَعْ دَرَجَتَهُ، وَأَكْرِمْ مَقَامَهُ، وَأَجْزِلْ ثَوَابَهُ

Peace be upon you, O Abu Bakr as-Siddiq. Peace be upon you, O successor (caliph) of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. Peace be upon you, O companion of the Messenger of Allah and his intimate friend in the cave, his comrade on journeys and his trustee over secrets. May Allah reward you on our behalf with the best reward; so peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah and His blessings. O Allah, be pleased with him, raise his rank, honour his station and make his reward abundant.

3. Greeting to Umar (r.a.)

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا أَمِيرَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ عُمَرَ الْفَارُوقِ. اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا مُظْهِرَ الْإِسْلَامِ. اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا مُكَسِّرَ الْأَصْنَامِ. جَزَاكَ اللّٰهُ عَنَّا أَفْضَلَ الْجَزَاءِ. فَالسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ وَرَحْمَةُ اللّٰهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ. اَللّٰهُمَّ ارْضَ عَنْهُ، وَارْفَعْ دَرَجَتَهُ، وَأَكْرِمْ مَقَامَهُ، وَأَجْزِلْ ثَوَابَهُ

Peace be upon you, O Commander of the Believers, Umar al-Faruq. Peace be upon you, O you who made Islam manifest. Peace be upon you, O breaker of idols. May Allah reward you on our behalf with the best reward. So peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah and His blessings. O Allah, be pleased with him, raise his rank, honour his station and make his reward abundant.
